EUR 100m senior secured bond

Keilaniemen kiinteistökehitys Oy, a subsidiary of Regenero Oy (a joint venture company of YIT and HGR Property Partners focusing on property development), issued a 3-year, EUR 100m senior secured bond in May 2018. The purpose of the bond issue was to refinance the acquisition of Fortum’s former headquarters and their modernisation into prime office space. Renovation of Keilaniemi Tower started in August 2018 and the premises will be available for tenants in early 2020. Keilaniemi was the first significant wholly bond-financed property development project without any bank financing in Finland. Taaleri Kapitaali acted as financial advisor to Regenero.
